A restrained modern extension grafted onto a Victorian terrace — the new volume reads as one continuous idea with the original, matched in discipline if not in material.
The brief was to double the liveable area without competing with the heritage facade. A zinc-clad box steps back from the original roofline, connected by a glass link that lets both halves breathe. Inside, Swiss precision: flush reveals, shadow-gap skirting, and a stair detailed as furniture.
